Or you can drive over the passes into neighbouring Italy or Switzerland. There are free guided hikes and hiking buses. In winter you can go snow shoe hiking, cross-country skiing, ski touring or take lifts up to 2800 metres. The Kühtai ski lift is eight minutes away with the free ski busses.
