Near Kaštelir, in the direction of Vižinada, the Parenzana railway once ran, connecting Poreć with Trieste at the beginning of the 20th century. Today it no longer exists, but the track is a beautiful cycling and hiking trail with bridges and tunnels. You can be everywhere in no time for excursions. Poreć can be reached in 12 minutes (approx. 10 km) by car.
